Great Fm Transmitter by Eric Stevens
I highly recommend this product. It is the only iPhone 3G accessory that I am happy with. The trasmitter has better power than the other two that I own. The only downside is that it gives the “Airplane Mode” warning on every connect.

can’t use with a hard case by E. Hussey
The product is good - you need to point it at your radio even at 7 feet away, and the volume is really really low. You can’t use this while the Iphone is in the hard case as the case will not allow the transmitter to dock. So it is a pain if you want to use it in the car.

for the price this FM transmitter is awesome… it’s kind of disturbing when you get a call while it’s connected and suddenly your phone is ringing, your stereo is playing loud static and you don’t know which to grab first, but overall I highly recommend the satechi iphone adapter

Awesome iPhone FM transimtter by Luke Lin
I had a competitor’s FM transmitter (rhymes with welkin) of similar design that I purchased for my iPod 5G. When the iPhone was announced, I was happy it had the 30 pin connector, but was frustrated that plugging the other transmitter into my iPhone caused a message to recommend switching into Airplane mode, and if you didn’t, you would hear all sorts of interference prevalent in iPhones and Blackberries when placed near speakers and speakerphones. The Satechi FM transmitter doesn’t eliminate all this noise, but it is certainly much, much better. With soft songs you can still hear the noise, but with louder music, it’s hardly noticeable. Plus I got this transmitter at less than half the price of competitors models. The audio from either the iPhone or the iPod is much clearer and less prone to radio interference from driving about town. In a typical drive with the competitor’s product I would hit 2 or 3 spots in my daily commute where I hear FM fuzz and no audio. With the Satechi, all of those dead spots are replaced with beautiful sounding audio. The only minor complaint with the Satechi is that the buttons have no tactile feel and are very touch sensitive. Sometimes I will change songs on the iPod or iPhone and accidentally switch the channel with a touch from my palm. The only other thing is that it would have been nice if they used the same miniUSB connector as a Blackberry or Motorola RAZR so I could reuse other chargers and cables. Instead the connector at the bottom of the Satechi is unique (at least in my huge stash of cables). I hope I don’t lose it or if I do, I hope it’s easy to replace.
